School.

#1 Postby Swimdude » Thu Aug 18, 2005 7:04 am

Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan of high school. Especially since i'm a Senior this year. [WooHoo!] But i'm just so busy. There wasn't a day during the summer that I wasn't here at S2K... But since school started on Monday, this is my first visit. And I believe it's Thursday morning.

Anyway, I can't be around as often - at all. I'm sure some of you are pleased about this, but I thought i'd just let everyone know. School is chaotic, especially this week. Plus I joined Band... So it's all kinds of crazy.

Thanks for keeping me entertained this summer, y'all.

But I won't be here much until then. :(

We'll miss you Swimdude! Your posts show a maturity beyond your years, so keep up the good work. You seem to be a goal-focused individual and I'm sure you'll go far in life. We look forward to seeing what you'll pursue after high school. (And now back to our regularly programmed men vs. women threads!)

I am the type of person who don't hold grudges. Especially over the internet. You are young. You are only young once. Enjoy your senior year and study hard. Coming from someone who wishes she did 17 years ago. (Man I am getting old)

And plus I don't think you have said anything harsh!

Enjoy your senior year Swimdude. It is a very busy time (like you mentioned), but it is a wonderful time as well. Log on here when you get a chance and let us know how things are going though, too!

your senior year will go extremely fast. Make sure you are preparing yourself for the life after HS... It will come quicker than expected.

One year behind you here, and I know what you mean. School doesn't start until the 29th (week and a half), but I've had cross-country practice since the 8th. 4 hours a day (at least!) away from here, and I try to get back whenever I can, but it is getting less and less. It's going to be a pain to have to wake up at 5:45 and not be home till 5 and still have two AP classes + physics and chem homework to do. And I get two more APs in the spring, along with track! I understand hectic . . . :)

Thanks for the kindness, y'all. :) It seems this space between 6:50 and 7:00 in the morning is my main time to check in here... This week has been chaos, as expected. Schedule changes, NHS, Senior class meetings, college happenings, etc... I'll have to follow a cliche motto for this year; work hard, play hard.

I will trade place with you two who are in high school. Here you can have my housework, my job, putting up with my husband (in your case wife), taking care of three beautiful children, and acting like you are a grown up when in reality being a teenager again doesn't sound to bad.

Oh by the way I am kidding. You can't have my children and my spouse. But enjoy high school!

I've found a time during school to stop by here. Hehe. Unfortunately, these are MAC computers... A little more irritating. Who ever thought up having no 'right click' option?! :x Oh well... At least I found some time! :D
