They probably won't upgrade until that T-number goes up to 2.0. MAYBE they'll upgrade at 1.5, but I doubt it.

Its been 1.0 and 1.5 for the last few days.

It looks like hell right now, no upgrade.

Dixie, why don't you just read the thread all about the storm and post in it?

Looks like garbage... no upgrade tonight for sure. Maybe, just maybe if it can get going Thursday at 5:00pm. Thats for a TD.

If this thing continues on a northwest path for a few days, it will enter a more favorable environment. But as of now, it's encountering alot of westerly shear which is hindering development. I'll make a prediction...this will be a category 2 as it makes landfall in South Carolina.

You'er not to say SC only Fla. Didn't you know it going to the fla? Sorry But That is all I have readed. It just might go there. But it has to come a live first.
