Stilts, tether ball, jump rope, and - does anyone remember this? - Wacky Packs. They had a piece of nasty bubble gum and cards like baseball cards for various "wacky" products. For example, Downy was Drowny, and Crest toothpaste was Crust. My older brother sold a couple on ebay for $150 a piece. Who knew?

They still make wacky packs, my kids have had them. As a matter of fact the only thing I have seen listed here that they don't have/do is the pogo stick. ( our property isn't flat enough ) They obviously don't have Mrs. Beasley dolls, but they did/do have dolls. We also just had a very large capture the flag game going on in our yard before lunch.

No Flash Gordon ring either!

It's not BB guns so much anymore, now it is paint-ball guns!

I think the best thing now is that little girls can have tea sets and dolls as well as erector sets and model rockets. I remember always thinking that the boys had better toys. ( and don't get me started on the differences between boy scouts and girl scouts )

I know kids still ride but I would spend hours with all my friends riding my bike with no hands down the hill and around the curve by my house.

Tinker toys--yes! and even as a girl I always wanted an erector set--never did get one but I did get a race car set one yera for christmas. Me and daddy wore that thing out.
