<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/wats20050816.jpg">
Hurricane Irene continues moving out to sea, and is only a threat to shipping lanes.
The remnants of Tropical Depression 10 have fired up a little more
convection this morning, but conditions are still unfavorable for redevelopment. That may change in 24-48 hours.
An upper level low and a tropical wave in the Caribbean sea are producing showers and thunderstorms. I do not expect this to develop
into a tropical cyclone.
