It was a window in a screen door. I went outside and he locked it behind me. He was laughing at me and it really made me mad. It shocked the crap out of him - he didn't think that I would do it. It shocked me to. I can't remember what my parents did about it.

Can I tell all of the things my younger sister did? I was perfect.

What did I do...skip school and walked right in front of the teacher. Nice 4 days in OCS and the wrath when I got home was worse.

Got caught with wine coolers under my bed in high school. Not a good thing to do when your mom and dad were very devout Baptists at the time.

My sister on the other hand was much worse than me.
When she was in the fifth grade one of her friends dared her to set the fire alarm off at the nursing home. She did it. Needless to say that my parents along with the police got a hold of her. She never did it again.

Now this one I can't believe because I am responsible for this one. When my sister was in the eighth grade~going into the ninth grade I took her to a friend's party. She got drunk for the first and last time. I don't think my sister ever drank a lot after that night. And I feel terrible for taking her when I was supposed to be protecting her and not tempting her.

Jumped out a window, holding an umbrella, hoping to float down like Mary Poppins. It was an 8 to 10 foot drop. No broken bones. But the funny thing was I did this with a good friend, at my house while my mom was at work. One of us jumped first, it didn't work, but the next one jumped too, with a new umbrella! And we forgot to unlock the front door. We had no way back in. We eventually conned an annoying boy in the neighborhood to climb in this window and unlock the door. We managed to get a ladder from his garage. He also took his good ole sweet time going to the front door. Meanwhile I thought he was reading my diary! I was about 12. 12 sounds too old to know better but this really happened. My friend and I still laugh about this at school reunions.

My mom never found out. We went back to making prank phone calls after that or just watching TV!

We would cut grape vines at the base of large trees and climb up on large boulders and swing like Tarzan. Problem was, our best vine was one that swung over a ravine full of large rocks. If any of us had ever fallen, we would have been dead meat.

I was about 5 and had been watching a magician on TV. I decided to copy his tricks....... climbed onto the kitchen counter, got hold of some matches, and a box of tissues. I wrapped my hand in tissue and and set my hand on fire!!! I had to have surgery to get mobility back in my fingers and plastic surgery to fix some of the scarring. I still have nightmares about fires! My poor mother nearly had heart faliure, and how I never set my bedroom on fire to this day God and His angels are the only ones who know!

Fast forward a few years.... We had a huge mulberry tree in the back yard... I put a towel round my neck and decided if superman could fly with a cape my towel would hold the same powers. WEEEEEEEE I go and land smack with my foot caught in the fork of the tree and the rest of me is dangling upside down. Trip to the ER and some broken bones in my feet.

Favorite summer evening activity.... take newspaper and set the storm water drains on fire... yes I had fire issues, you would have thought I had learned the hard way about fire! Oh and blowing up the neighbors mail boxes with fire crackers was a hoot!

I stole my brothers scooter at the age of 10 and got chased by the next door neighbors poodle who was nipping my heels... fell off and broke my other ankle.

I have toooo many daredevil stories to even begin telling.

and while we're all being honest here, I also tied her up like I was going to set her on fire. We were playing cowboys and Indians and she was a cowboy who had stolen my stick horse. Oh buddy, I was torqued. She was going to be burned at the stake. Fortunately for her, my mom found me looking for matches.

Oh gosh Mary, what a hoot! I remember standing on a high wall with an umbrella with friends around daring me to jump and fly like Mary Poppins. I convinced them it would never work, so none of us tried it.

A few years later, I slipped off the same wall and landed in the fire barrel! No fire at the time thank goodness. No broken bones, just made an ash of myself!

The train was was blocking the path that I had to take to my home. The train was not moving and I ducked under it to get to the other side so I could get home. Someone saw me and phoned my mom and told her what I had done. I was in 2nd or 3rd grade at the time. Trains back then would stop on tracks and block traffic for an hour or more before moving again.

I think the question should be "What stupid thing did you not do when you were younger?". That would be so much easier for me to answer!!!!!!!! Short list vs. VERY LONG LIST!!!

Every child needs to climb a tree at least once. When I was a teenager and had a fight with my mom I had a favorite tree that I used to go sit in. I would climb in this tree ( at the school nearby) and watch all the people walk down the path right under my tree. No one EVER looked up and saw me there. It was such a peaceful place to sit and calm down.
