It could be the TS eye opening by accident because of an open spot in the overcast.

Reconnaissance has been reporting a closed eye for several days now...

Nevertheless, she's most likely our 4th 70-mph TS of the season. Joy.

yeah someone look at a loop... I have too many windows open right now and with dial up my comp would crash lol... see if the convection is rotation around that point and if then point is moving northward... mainly its just a matter of wait-and-see... if its still there next frame and it hasnt like expanded drastically it should be an eye

I actually thought I saw a hint of an eye developing earlier, but chose not to post it. Yesterday I thought it was developing an eye, when it in fact was actually really disorganized.

However, this one is no joke. I expect a hurricane either at 5 or 11 tonight!

The tight CDO has located over the surface center.

Notice this happened when it turned NNE and brought the moist inflow to its SW in tandem with the Gulf Stream...

It might be upgraded to a cane at 5. Recon winds at 2EST did not support it, but it has both the pressure and the Dvorak measurement to be classified as a cane. We'll see if NHC does or not.
