High helicity tower firing with lightning on the top of the feeder band.
Watching if we get a center relocate under it which would push it back to the SE

Overridden, still 50 kt as convection looks skimpy right now.

Suspect that sentiment will be short-lived, unless this thing can fire off again like yesterday. Convection in the core is weakening, looks like mid level shear to me.

Watching this closely.
I suspect the "east" convection is taking over from the "west" convection.
East convection is over a direct tap from the feeder band and pinching off the feed to the west convection.
Also, east convection UL outflow and associated downdraft is hammering the west convection.
Maybe the east convection will fire up. Seeing some good helicity with it.
Of course, this all takes time.

For those of us in the islands, Mr. Weather brings the latest update. Flooding concerns for some of the more Southern islands.

Seems like every time someone states Bret is not doing well, he starts firing off hot towers. Kind of makes you wonder if he's reading the forum.

If Bret manages to survive the Caribbean, Bret will either go towards Central America, Towards the GoM, or to Florida

It's not doing well now. The center is nearly exposed west of the convection. Dry air and wind shear will only be increasing as it approaches the islands. Plane could find 45kt winds in squalls east of the center.

The center should pass to the north of Barbados early tomorrow afternoon. You won't see much weather until after it passes, as all squalls will be east of the center. Don't expect any sustained TS winds, they'll all be north of the track. You'll get some rain and gusty wind.
