STS is decaying already. Looks like it’s transitioning now

The hurricane watch extends south to Hallandale Beach.

its going no farther south than lake worth :D

I will be in the dirty side and worst weather.

30 miles may make a huge difference on the south side, I'm preparing for a direct hit, shutters tomorrow morning if this holds. Its going to be a rush job, 63 panels, I can do it in 4 hours.

Cirrus is starting to fan out in an anti-cyclonic direction. Looks like this is transitioning. Just need a couple of good bursts near the center and it will be game time.

Salute!

Good luck, SFL Cane. My oldest son is there withya over at Lake Clark but his inlaw has a whole house generac and shutters, so family will be safe and powered.

The further north the storm coasts the better due to topography and less population/houses/etc.

The forecast seems more reasonable for a Cat 1 ,and I was wondering about that since we didn't have a strong front or high system coming to the rescue. We Panhandle folks are praying to not have a Erin reflux where the thing crossed and then hooked north to Navarre/Pensacola and a tree came thru my roof!

Gums sends...

Is it me or has Nicole already begun moving west? NHC mentions more NW movement today before the turn but not seeing that at the moment.

I'll likely board up in Coconut Creek regardless.

What an interesting system this is. Beach eater on the east coast for sure. Surf over there is already heavy duty. Skinny black line goes right over me as it recurves on that 10 am outlook. Looks like a good fall gale incoming

Nice looking circulation, convection building on the north side.
