Give me like 130 kt for right now (~04Z) I think. That's a little lower than most of the objective intensity aids like SATCON and it's members (AMSU, SSMIS), and even ADT, but a little closer to subjective dvorak. This think is releasing latent heat like no one's business right now, which the MW estimates in particular are picking up and going to town with, but I don't think we're quite there structurally yet. With that said, each MW pass I see is just better and better, and even subjective dvorak estimates might be closing in on the 7.0 number soon.

As far as track is concerned, I think Surigae will probably stay off the Philippines, but that's not something I say with great confidence, especially considering the spread in timing/speed/angle of the recurve. I've been playing with a personal simple model consensus beginning late last year, and here's what I have for the 00Z suite. Lots of slow motion with big model spread. Definitely take this with a grain of salt, I can almost guarantee the official forecasts will verify better in terms of track.

Yeah EC 00z will be interesting. Have to wonder if that ridge to the northwest is getting pumped up now. Or it's going to fade some and allow an even more west track.
