If it continues to get organized today then we may have Hannah by tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Will in all likelihood set another early storm record.

Should have a center pass in the next two sets.

Good indication that it is getting better organized with the HH finding steadily increasing easterly winds as it approaches.

nice MLC over top of the LLC convection building.

I would not go with global models on this one either..

For what exactly? Trajectory/landfall, intensity?

There have been very minimal changes to our internal path in several days, I'm curious what you're referring. :37:

That ULL over FL and the TUTT to its east are starting to combine.
A poleward outflow channel could develop after all.

Not looking so hot this morning on sat.
Again hard to make out a center or motion.

Convection appears to be lightening up a bit.
Maybe they'll be able to sample the wind field better this time.

Not consolidated at all and no clear center.

Center is definitely farther east and under the convection.. pretty much right where I circled above.

plane slightly missed center

Interesting.. per recon looks like the center has reformed even farther east into the convection. which makes sense larger burst of convection

Crosshairs mark the recon-found center. Convection has been decreasing in the area over the last few hours. Buoys have yet to report even 20kt winds nearby. It's still a rather disorganized depression, but at least it does have convection in the area of the LLC today. I see NHC bumped landfall winds to 45 kts, which matches my forecast. Landfall between Matagorda Bay & Corpus Christi Saturday morning. They copied my track.

even more interesting.. looks like a couple vorts but there is one well to the SE in the ver deep convection.

if that takes over then it is in prime location for momentum transfer and help with deepening.
