Big storm going up on east coc. Looks like recon went south of it.

Some of our local mets missed the call on this one. They were calling for torrential rain with flooding. Now, this evening, they have changed their forecast to state that we will be in our normal weather pattern. Dry air moved in and took the threat off the storm's chance to be a serious event for central Florida.

Those hot towers likely will have 60 kts

Alberto doesn't seem to be moving at all. I'm no expert for sure but being over warmer water, less shear can't be a good sign.

I finally see the sun here in port st lucie. Its been raining here non stop now for the past 2 days. Down pouring almost the entire time. I wonder if all that rain off the coast will come on shore?

Still going west of forecast..instead of Panama city..looks more like Fort Walton beach

Based on the recon data so far with smrf one could easily go 50 knots for the intensity without the hot towers. This is almost certainly near 55 knots.

Sall is gonna cause upwelling and cooler waters so unless he moves it might not be good for Alberto..
