BTR here. We have been getting rain off and on all afternoon, and at time pretty heavy. Fairly windy, maybe 15-20 mph. Looks like we have more on the way towards us.

It is just weird. Weather to our east and west but Thibodaux has been in the dry slot all day. We may get some more later tonight.

:uarrow: Notice the second swirl east of the center, especially in the last few frames.

If it means temps in the low 80's all afternoon on a June day, I will take it.

Radar-estimated storm total of 5+ inches thus far. Another heavy rainband moving through.

upper level shear is pretty much not a problem... only decent mid level shear.

When do you think it will turn? I've been watching Houston's long range base radar and the convection has stayed consistent and has been moving west all day?

https://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid ... 1&loop=yes

Didn't some of the models have it move SW and dissipate?

Oh and surf is big and sloppy have to wait  This in CC TX

You all think I should take off tomorrow and head South?

I hate to gamble with my sick days and comp time :cheesy:

Does anyone know when she was expected to make the turn? Was there a specific time or time frame?

The most convective part of Cindy has spit out at least 3 vorticities over the last 4 or 5 hours?

I know it's moving NW but it looks like it's stalling again, Houston may get some Rain!

This rain band about to make landfall in my area looks pretty serious. My town took some major damage this morning from a tornado and have had multiple tornado warnings issued for our area. Expecting tropical storm force gusts with this one.

Just got back from a walk and got a tiny bit of rain at the end. Guess the first band is hitting the Houston area.
