Can somebody with access to the full res tell me how close it comes compared to 0Z?
It looks to jump straight NE from FL. Hard to tell with 24 hr frames...it would be much appreciated.

Close enough that hurricane winds are on the coast. I can't judge miles on the map. It's offshore, but close.

Looks like the local NWS office will need to bump up the wind forecast- right now they show Orlando downtown and points east with strong ts winds gusts to 70. May be worse than that in this scenario.

SC gets a pretty significant hit as well.

Looked at the 12Z GFS. Looks like a slight shift west from the 06z. Putting up shutters up all morning so catching up.

Shear hits Matthew quite hard after the SC/NS hit, but even so its quite mad to think Matthew may well take aim at Florida a second time, even in its much reduced format...

(of course, that 00z GFS run was a run for the ages!

Cant believe this is going to recurve what a difference a day makes .. so stick a fork in it for areas farther north Maine Atlantic Canada .. unless things change .
