the cut-off is supposed to retrograde westward thru Sunday and then go to the NE. and then who knows? It's really complicated. :double:

I think the EURO is on crack. If I was a betting man I'd put my money on the GFS. It's forecast seems more logical

The orientation of nearly every surface and 500 mb feature is very different at 120 compared to the 00Z run

I have the 12Z Euro 120 hour position in line with the 0Z Euro but clearly faster. Also, I have today's 12Z Euro about 75 miles east of yesterday' 12Z Euro hour 144 position.
