I haven't had a connect to them either (NHC and NOAA) since around 7:30 am this morning...servers seem to be down.

According to someone on chat COMCAST is having some DNS issues and many sites are unavailable.

It works just fine for me at the moment.

I just turned off my Comcast wireless and can connect to NHC fine with Verizon 3G. Definitely a Comcast issue.

for those who can not connect to the NHC website via Comcast, here is the latest visible image saved for the 92L floater:

You can check out this website (http://rammb.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis ... opical.asp) and see if you can connect there. They have both floaters up. They also offer a graphic of the estimated center for 92L based on RAMDIS information:

Local Met is saying models are not yet initializing on where center is going to be, and so taking west when likely will pan out to a more northerly path. He seems to think that the Low/trough will be deeper and pull this thing up. At least a very rainy few days expected for us on west coast florida as a result, whether or not this deepens significantly.

Is everyone getting an Apache error when trying to access CIMSS? I can't get access to the shear maps, vorticity maps, or really any of their products. Sorry if this was brought up earlier but it's not related to the COMCAST issue.

Comcast can't pull-in SSD.

Looks like the right fork solution happening to me. Bigger upper range there in my opinion.

Good morning, Luis...that puts different spin on things...a provided a link to the NDBC map of the NW Carib to give everyone a visual on location of buoy 42057(17.1N 81.3W)...apparently given that 7.8kt W wind the developing LLC must be closer to the Caymans than the 12Z best track of 17.1N 82.8W would suggest...Grtz from KW, Rich
