From iCyclone: 9:20 pm. Front doors of hotel blew out of their frames while I was on with The Weather Channel. We've now piled a mountain of furniture against the broken frames. Wind blowing into lobby. Building getting hammered. Screaming, roaring sounds. Whoa. Building just enveloped in raw power.

Eye clearing out .. should intensify over night as it scrapes the coast.

From iCyclone (eyewall now): 9:35 pm. We must be in inner eyewall. High-energy blasts of wind smashing building, finishing off doors. Violence. The mountain of furniture can't keep it out. Whoever said outer eyewall had the max winds was wrong-- inner *way* worse.

I don't think so. The inner eyewall went bye bye.

Satellite suggests it is the NW eyewall.

That back side will be the word for Cabo. Which would be near the right front

That's pretty scary.

Aric, you don't think it's going to be a full on landfall? Only partial?

Late track shifts indeed makes it look like a dead-on hit for Cabo San Lucas.

From iCyclone: 10 pm. Ears popping. Front entrance completely destroyed. Debris blowing by opening at great speeds. Car alarms going off. Rain and wind enveloping lobby.

He is clearly in the eyewall now: 10:10. Sounds of trains going by, with whistling, Ears hurt from pressure. Large, thick plate-glass window just exploded-- didn't break, exploded. Interior walls vibrating. One of the worst cyclone I've ever been in. Frightening.

Hard eyewall direct hit on Cabo. Mucho destruction there I would bet.
