Ive been watching TWC for the past hour, and Brian Norcross is anything but sold on Texas. Here are some quotes from him from the past hour:

"There is a big question mark on the track"
"Everyone on the gulf coast still has the chance to be affected by Debbie"
"It can go to so many different places in the Gulf of Mexico"
"No one should look at the cone and go, 'oh, it's going to Texas, it's not going to Florida', everyone should be watching it"

Right now they are showing the two scenarios. Scenario #1 is Florida, Scenario #2 is Texas. Not that subtle on what their thoughts are for Debby.

We do not know future track yet - but at this time, S.W. and S. Florida folks are catching piece of it.
Bands training over coast - stronger each hour (between Naples & Bradenton)

ULL off TX/LA coast doesn't look like it's budging.

The center of Debby is not visible on Tampa's radar. Not even on LR.

25 frame live water vapor loop. ULL is slowly retrograding west, southwest while outflow appears to be improving to the north and slowly making westward progress. Slowly.

A new center? or the east side of the elongated center may be forming near the burst of convection near 26.3N-86W.
