same as last night...gets tangled up and weakens significantly....now the next few frames are the ones I am interested in....does it miss the weakness and get left behind....

Regarding GFDL, path shift was farther west but still bisects the state. Roughly a Cat 1 hurricane making landfall in the Miami area. HWRF is weak again -- only showing 45 mph winds or so between Cuba and Florida.

Disclaimer: I'm likely the smartest guy here... but I have no idea where a tropical cyclone will go. I suggest you take my opinion as a grain of salt. I suggest you look to the National Hurricane Center for accurate info.

Crossing the tip of Cuba in this run instead of going through the channel. Will it contue NW like the 0Z or follow a more N path like other models show."?

Yep. Looks only ever so slightly east heading NW into the gom
