ok thats creepy ... sorry but thats such an andrew track right now my the world famous Euro.


http://raleighwx.americanwx.com/models/ ... _loop.html straight wesst. riding the 25 north line like its train tracks.. large ridge building in to the north ..

straight west to florida this run.. ?

Not good, not good at all.... :grr:

Now that the Euro is on board, watch out (I said that earlier)

There are no trough left over North America after that one trough that is pulling out. Classic early September setup :eek:

Euro is almost a replica of the "A" storm in track and intensity. Good thing it's way out there but this is what makes the tropics interesting :eek:

What the heck is the Euro doing..... it is just one run, but it is the Euro, anyway Lee is causing the CONUS enough problems in that run.

12z Euro from 144 hrs to 168 hrs moves Katia almost due west. It is probably a 275-280 heading during those 24 hrs.

yep slightly south of west at 192 hours.. thats a crazy crazy shift in synoptic thinking.. but we all were saying something does not seem right with the models from the beginning.. now i think they are all starting to get things better..

Yep due west at 192hrs still, upper trough weakening to its north and flattening out.

Yeah. this is quite a run from the Euro. Lifts the trough out and replaces it with a strengthening ridge. weenie solution though.

yeah the 12z GFS was very confused with what to do with Katia for almost 2 days mid run...
