Not good, not good at all....

Now that the Euro is on board, watch out (I said that earlier)
There are no trough left over North America after that one trough that is pulling out. Classic early September setup

Euro is almost a replica of the "A" storm in track and intensity. Good thing it's way out there but this is what makes the tropics interesting

What the heck is the Euro doing..... it is just one run, but it is the Euro, anyway Lee is causing the CONUS enough problems in that run.

yep slightly south of west at 192 hours.. thats a crazy crazy shift in synoptic thinking.. but we all were saying something does not seem right with the models from the beginning.. now i think they are all starting to get things better..

Yeah. this is quite a run from the Euro. Lifts the trough out and replaces it with a strengthening ridge. weenie solution though.

yeah the 12z GFS was very confused with what to do with Katia for almost 2 days mid run...
