Remember the ensembles? :double:
Most of them suggested a Florida landfall, I never question the euro ensembles.

To be fair nearly every model run for all three of the systems out there has shown nothing but recurve. It would not surprise me if even this system recurves though still early to know for sure.

if your hanging your hat on 97L model runs past 4-5 days then good luck with that...the trend is west with this system and from the current look of it might take some time to develop.

The pattern indeed suggests further west with every system. Makes me believe we have to be looking at a potential landfalling system between E and F.

A good deal of high pressure to the north of both systems. Leewards get hit by the future Fiona and Earl gets a closer to the east coast. I hope that this is not the case of course.

I really dont think Earl and Fiona will be close at all as GFS shows. What do you think Ivan?

i'm not buying it... it tried the same thing with danielle and earl now earl and fiona to be... seems to be having an issue there... i dont think that earl if he gets as far as the gfs is showing, that it would take such a sharp cut northeast... i see why the model is doing it... i just dont know if it would happen... closer to hatteras and shifting out is a bet... but, way down the road...

I also don't see Fiona and Earl being so close to each other, makes you question the run completely.

I can't take the GFS seriously until it stops trying to make Fiona catch up to Earl and somehow merge together.
