Forums looking very tacky_gaudy

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sat Aug 28, 2004 11:57 am

Hello,

I enjoy this forum, but compared to many I go to it is really getting carried away with the political garbage, red neck html codes, big waste of bandwidth of personal opinion in the signature with tacky photos from silly B movies and countless useless things that have nothing to do with the topic.

I visit the Hurricane forum and its becoming so cluttered it reminds me of the Vegas strip.

Doesn't this use a lot of extra bandwidth? I see no reason for all of the junk . I really don't care who is running for mayor of tiny Town Arkansas even if I lived there, I come here for weather topic. Can't this sort of stuff be cut back or are these people paying to play there views on as ads, they sure are big enough and annoying as pop ups.

I don't care if you are voting for Bush or Kerry in the Hurricane forum and the pictures or stupidity isn't cute, save that for the correct forum. Its boring.

Get rid of them. Stay on topic. I have seen post be removed for stating religious views on the Hurricane forum which is great only to see some huge red neck military Hummer with the words "God may forget I don't".
...Do the monitors think thats fine?
Everyday it gets worse with larger & larger html codes being added.

Thanks Take care,
Mike

Thankyou,
Mike

MIke. There is another option.. Go to your profile and select the template called "subrebel" That template does not show avatars and signature images. That should solve your issues.. All you had to do was ask :D
