Can't delete.....

#1 Postby ColdFront77 » Tue Jun 22, 2004 10:08 pm

Is there a particular reason why we can't delete our own posts in the U.S. Weather Forum?

A user can not delete their own posts after someone has replied. That's the way the board works. An Admin or a Mod can do it for you though. Just let us know :-)

Marshall, of course, (after accessing message boards, especially this one/phpBB), I know a user cannot delete their own posts after someone has replied. I create a thread yesterday and wanted to deleted (and/or then repost) and I was unable to. That is why I am bringing this issue up...

What thread is it and I'll take care of it for you. I will also check that users are allowed to delete posts in that Forum. The options is set forum by forum and we might have missed one.

I didn't/don't actually want it delete now, it was one of my unique "was thinking about/was going to delete and repost" -- personal preference that not many if any members of message boards do.
