I usually use "spit" when trying to emphasize something like "Beating the living spit out of something." But you guys know what I substituting it for, I'm sure. I don't use the other word too often and would most likely refrain from using it here. I think "spit" gets the point across well enough.
But just for clarification, is the other word allowed here or just being overlooked? I've seen it several times, mostly up in the weather forums. I know "hell" and "damn" are pretty tame words. The F word would never be allowed. Considering the S word is one of those 7 dirty words that George Carlin talks about (S, P, F, C, CS, MF, T), I just wanted to check.
