Avators

How do you get a big image (such as a NWS Radar image) down to the required size for the avator?

I attempted it once by just copying/pasting the address of the image, and it is by no means small.

Any help would be appreciated!

We use graphics software to reduce images for avatars. If you'll e-mail the picture or a link I'll be happy to do it for you and post it on the site so you can use it :-)
