It's sure looking better than it did several hours ago. I wonder if the NHC will raise it back to 125 kt.

Doesn't look like they'll decrease the winds based on that but that doesn't mean he's done weakening.

yep and they are running a crawl at the bottom of the screen, that track at 5 will be very close if not on top of us, they arent starting the news 90 mins early because there was so much happening in south florida today

I don't see the crawl am I on the right channel? Judge Judy is on right?

ok the verdict is in, now we can get on with the important stuff like max mayfield, i hope these people on judge judy get paid some pretty good jack to make absolute fools of themselves

The T numbers continue to suggest 125kts is reasonable though whether or not the NHC bite the bullet and up the winds I'm not sure yet.

There is shear but its not a wall, more like a gentle trickle!

Any idea, at this point, the wind field? How far out would the hurricane strength and tropical strength winds go?

Thought that maybe my question got lost at the bottom of the page or among the TV chat :) so I'll ask again ;)

Is the recurve only possible before it hits FL due to the lifting ULL and High pressure building in, or will that high pressure be "large and in chage" as I once heard it and allow it to continue W along the GOM to Texas/Mexico?

I guess I cold put it this way, is recurving only a possibility before it gets to Florida?
