If they ran it this morning, i bet they would have been into Miami or up the east coast of the pen.

I'm confused, the NHC has Fay moving straight through Hispaniola starting as a weak tropical storm and coming out a tropical storm. :?:

Tell me about it. I thought the trend would come westward yesterday but I didn't expect this much westward, lets hope its a fluke run.

Yes, I know you've been around this game long enough to know that the models will most likely shift a couple more, at least until it leaves land and gets out over the open waters...I sure remember how Katrina was forecast to come into our area before it came ashore in S. Fl. I was forecast to take a wnw path across S. Fl but instead it went wsw and the models began to shift west with each succeeding run...I have no idea whether this will affect us or not, I sure hope not, but it does have my attention moreso today than yesterday at this time.

Perhaps but its just perfect timing if you know what I mean...haven't been in the house for more than 2 weeks yet...shouldn't have known Aug was a bad month to close in Southern Florida

I'm betting that it pulls an Ernesto or something and hardly anything happens but some fresh breezes and some rain :)
