I think it's cancelled too simply because the satellite appearance is awful.

They don't have to be at their station until 1PM EDT, so maybe they are upcoming. Usually though, HDOBs do start soon after takeoff at least.

We will definitely know about by 2pm. So far it looks like a no-go.

They need to go further south. Caracas is still reporting WNW at 9mph and a pressure 1009mb.

Why would you wish for that????? If there is a TD/TS, then there is a good chance my Cancun vacation will be ruined as I am leaving tomorrow. I don't understand people who wish for these things.

IMO they should have sent the Recon to 96L, but maybe they will still find a circulation here...

Yeah I think they should have as well, sure we may not find a closed circulation but it does look like at the very least we have a sharp wave and who knows recon may yet find a closed low down there...
