We should definitely be seeing an increase in Thunderstorm Activity tomorrow afternoon here in Florida.

interesting that they moved the small yellow box on nhc.noaa.gov page to the SW.

i figured it would just sort of dissapear , since the little wanna be low, was moving NW this afternoon, then as honeyko mentioned seemed to bend wnw by 5pm (2045Z at 24.75/ 74.75) now perhaps it is moving due west?

we are discussing it because honeyko pimped this system out for a couple days and otherwise the tropics for the (conus) are quiet

also it still has a nice little yellow box over the central bahamas

it's a "feel good" story of how with alot of will something can persevere in the face of lot's of adversary, and should this swirl it's way to the coast (name or not) it deserves a round of applause for it's sheer determination. I may even greet the swirl should it come to my beach.

Well, that was very unimpressive....

(...referring to 99L's total puke-out after looking like a scrapper.)

I also "pimped" 91L in the Gulf, and suggested, before it was a TD, that tropical storm warnings ought to be posted for southern Louisiana. Everybody dogpiled on with the criticism. But within hours, a plane was in there, it was a TS, and the warnings were posted.

Katrina was slapping Miami as a cat-1 48hrs after developing out of crap system that was lamer-looking than 99L was at any point in the past three days.

I also called for 96L in the Atlantic to puke after seeing a following system drawing off its inflow. People in the thread defended the storm for a day until there was nothing left. (I kept on 99L because it always had inflow, and always had a relatively closed circulation.)

Sometimes we need to have some sense of humor. Ex. 99L is not developing at all at the moment and conditions are not favorable in the near future.

The MN Vikings and Timberwolves will continue to suck. (Sorry, don't pay attention to other states.)
