It's been downgraded to a 5.4. I don't know if that makes much of a difference in anything.

I ran errands this afternoon stopping a local market with homegrown produce (corn, tomatoes, etc.). Didn't expect to see a TV in the store but they had Fox News tuned in. First I had heard of a 5.4 earthquake. You kind of go into a breaking news mode, it was all I could think until I got home to watch CNN, MSNCB and Fox.
I hope we don't hear of injuries.

Re: 5.4 earthquake in Los Angeles
My friend that lives in San Diego called me and told me that it shook pretty good but nothing bad. But her dog started acting really weird a few minutes before so she knew something was going on because of how he was acting he usually knows before they do and it gives her a few minutes to get her kids together! Thank god for dogs! I would take a storm over a earth quake anyday!

Re: 5.4 earthquake in Los Angeles
After the fires, this is the last thing that they need. I hope it's not a precursor to something larger. Hopefully this one relieved enough pressure in the plates so that another one doesn't come about.

Looks like a Swarm Progression to me.

Last month Mexicali quakes up 600 %
This month L.A. 138 quakes that seems like a lot.
Next month ?
