Caught on Tape: Flying Fish in Japan
Amazing video from Japan where a cameraman captured a rare sight - a flying-fish airborne for 45 seconds!
The crew was on a ferry when it spotted the fish flying along side the ship.
It was able to stay above water by beating the surface occasionally with its tail when it began to lose altitude.
A researcher said 45 seconds of flying time might be the limit for this particular species.

Pretty amazing animal. I think we're seeing an animal doing an evolutionary step.
