Has alot of work to do but....it's still hanging on. I really think with the shear to the west of 97L this invest could be the one to go POOF. The other 2 have a pretty solid chance becoming named storms.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED
IN THE VICINITY OF THE WINDWARD ISLANDS. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM ARE NOT WELL-ORGANIZED AT THIS TIME....
BUT THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR THIS LOW TO BECOME A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES NORTHWESTWARD AT
ABOUT 15 MPH. THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING SQUALLY WEATHER TO
PORTIONS OF THE WINDWARD AND LEEWARD ISLANDS TODAY AND TOMORROW.
INTERESTS IN THE LESSER ANTILLES SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF
THIS SYSTEM.

NHC still bullish.

System is moving NW just like the GFDL suggests. If the GFDL is right, this won't really get going for about 24-48 hours.

Notice that folks -- movement is NW at 15mph...its gaining lattitude and probably would not be a Caribbean storm if this continues.

Also note the GFDL and BAMS bend it back WNW in about 3 days so probably not going fishing with this one.

If 97L gets strong it should, theoretically, steer the possible 96L hurricane more north and keep it weaker. BUT it is possible that the 96L hurricane could keep the 97L storm further west and towards you know what (ala CMC).

Looks like a divide still exists there for the dry, sheared Atlantic environment Ingrid encountered. 97L is entering it and responding accordingly with dry convection and weakness. That little swirl at 15N-48W is interesting in how it will affect either 96L or 97L.

Latest radar image looks fairly decent, if there is a spin (hard to tell) Looks to me like an organizing tropical low, but becuase most organizing tropical lows are far from land, it is hard to tell what an organizing tropical low looks like on radar.
