Well...for those who follow my clan, you know it is granddaughter Miss Emma's first birthday this week. We are celebrating today, Saturday, with about 25 guests, ice cream cake, dogs on the grill, and lots of hugs and laughs. We're at my son's home in Scripps Ranch...San Diego...and it is a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Will have some pictures of the little lady on her birthday. Thanks for the good wishes for her and her family during the year. While the ship is still seaworthy, there's plenty of repairs needed below the deck! Hopefully they will be taken care of one at a time...

BTW....we drove right next to the new baseball stadium on our way home from Lindbergh Field on the bay. That is going to make downtown San Diego even more awesome...opens next year!!!

My goodness........BTW, so GLAD to hear the hole in the ship has been shored up and no longer taking on water :wink:
