Taxi to the Dark Side is a film by Alex Gibney about torture by US officers in Baghram, Afghanistan. I haven't watched it, but it's on the preliminary list for the documentary feature Oscar. I have, however, listened to the BBC World Service 22-minute documentary version of it.
I'd recommend you to listen to it. Not only does it talk about Dilawar, the victim, but the US officers involved are also victims. The officer in charge was then deployed to Abu Ghraib, subsequently got a promotion and now has a staff job in Arizona. The ones who had to carry out the acts were convicted, dishonorably discharged, and sent to jail.
