http://www.click2houston.com/news/14384502/detail.htmlI don't care if they are 10 years old.. They should be spanked until they bleed or sent to Iraq for bomb disarming duty.

Really a sad teastament to some in society!! This happened within a week of the funeral too. REALLY SICKENS ME!! If the perpetrators are caught they should be sentenced to years of cemetary clean up interspersed with military duty in various hot spots across the world.

A similar situation occured in my hometown of Irving:
A Memorial Park was built east of the Central Library in 2002, honoring the City of Irving Soldiers who died in WWII and the Vietnam War. 2 years ago, some teens vandalized it by spray painting "The Cost Of Freedom" on the Memorial Wall.

I cannot believe anyone would have the gall to do that.

His poor family...they've gone through enough and then to have this happen.

I recall my Dad (as I've stated before half of my family is American) telling me stories about how they'd spite on Vietnam vets as they got off the planes. In an even more extreme case one of my uncles had a cup full of what was later ID as urine thrown on him. This story reminds me of those ones told to me back then for some reason, truly sad.

My first job interview after I came home from Vietnam was a real eye-opener. I really wanted that job and with a young wife I needed it too. The boss of the company had me in his office and this is exactly what he said. "I'm not sure this job is for you I mean it can't be as exciting as smoking dope all day or shooting gook babies." I got up and walked out but that sums up how America felt about it's returning veterans then. Thank God things have changed.
