Deorbit burn complete, and about 20 min. from entry interface. Endeavour is on target for a KSC landing at 12:32pm. Those in the southern part of FL keep your ears open for the booms :)

Another beautiful landing! :flag:

I just love watching it on NASA TV and getting the pilot's view. 8-)

I never received a good glimpse of the shuttle, but I think I heard the boom, too. It definitely shook my windows within the last five minutes. It's a unfortunate circumstance - I'm heading to Cape Canaveral on Thursday, so I missed a good opportunity for a close view of the landing (thanks to Dean).

:flag: Another beautiful landing has occurred! Welcome back to Earth, Endeavour! :flag:

I watched the landing on the NASA TV station, too. These events never grow old for me!

I love watching it on nasa tv as well.
Glad Endeavour made it back safely. After watching what happened to Challenger live in class in 1st grade, it's is like coming full circle to see Barbara finally teach from space... and come back safely. :D

Yep - heard it here in Homestead too...pretty cool! We were up there for the launch, so pretty neat to hear the landing. Glad Endeavour made it back safely considering that gouge in her belly. Great job NASA! :flag:

I'm glad she made it home safely. I was a bit worried about the gash in her tiles. I wonder what the vehicle that replaces her (as well as Discovery & Atlantis) will be like. Perhaps the new vehicle won't have to worry about her heat shield being hit by falling debris during launch.

Thank God that they made it back safely!

I didn't see the landing yet, but I never get tired of seeing the launches and returns. The Space Shuttles were such a wonderful invention for their time. Space travel will always be dangerous, but I will never get over house they all were made to shoot up into the sky like a rocket, but land like a plane. :D

I heard on TV while the crew was looking at the damaged area that would be not more flights till the falling foam problem is fixed. The next flight in October would probably be delayed. The damage was done by liquid fuel tank foam.
