Computer help needed

I was given a new Dell computer recently with Windows Vista. I was using Mozilla browser on my previous computer and liked it better than Internet Explorer. My problem is the Mozilla seems to run slower than Internet Explorer and I can't bring up the satellite images with Mozilla but they come up fine with the Internet Explorer. Any ideas appreciated.
