Marvin Zindler passes away...

A sad day for Houston and the KTRK family

For nearly two generations, he's been part of Houston, never farther away than a television set. Marvin Zindler passed away today at MD Anderson after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

I am sorry to hear that. I last saw him on Friday and he looked like he was doing well. Condolences to him and his family. I will miss him. I grew up with him with his "Slime in the ice machine!" and "Marvin Zindler, Eyewitness News!"
