I'm trying to get in thru mirc but it shows me as the only person in the room. Bre got in and said there's 8 people in there. I can't get on thru java either. Any clues as to what might be causing my problem?

Ahm remeber it did that a few times a while back? You guys called it a split or something. I will try to come in now...........cya in a few.

Why don't some of you others stop in.

i CANNOT find the room at all it shows 0 rooms for me

Chat is missing, the server shows only a few rooms that have one or two people in them.

Keep trying mIRC, everyone is having problems.

I get in, but with a sunglasses icon and nobody home.

On MIRC, I just get an empty room.

on the main server screen type /join #storm2k

It's worse than a netsplit; two of the servers (Heartsfire and Stormdancing) are actually down. Thunderdome works, but it takes a very, very long time to get connected to it since IRC clients and the java chat seem to prefer connecting to the other two servers.

A server move might be a good idea - Stormdancing has been devoid of life for quite some time, there are no IRCops, services are down, all the channels have been deregistered, and there's no indicator that things are going to improve. I talked to southerngale about it a bit in the chat, and I know a few servers that are well-maintained in case anyone needs suggestions (I've been on IRC since 2001, after all ).
