I've always wondered whatever happend to Rob! He was an early member here and accumulated so many posts. I don't think he ever slept!

fur joined another board I've joined. But I haven't heard from her in a while though. Hope she's not near any of the CA fires.

I thought Rob left on bad terms. Didn't he live in PA or am I thinking of another rob?

I remember Rob leaving on bad terms also. Something about only wanting to wrack up his post count - I think he just often times replied with one word. I also just pictured a crazed but nice person at his keyboard, trying to see how many posts per minute he could acrue. LOL

On another board (now unfortunately defunct), we called this practice "neffing". It used to drive me right up the wall. Sometimes people would post on a thread and just type "NEFF!!" It was one of my biggest pet peeves as an admin. I absolutely hated it!

LOL. Those were the days.

What does NEFF stand for?

"Neff" is one of those nonsensical words that doesn't mean anything. It was just a way of running up post counts. It made it seem as if those posters were a lot more involved in the community than they really were.

Thank you good sir! Missing y'all too. The weather is pretty boring. 90's and more 90's...maybe triple digits to mix it up a little bit. I'm just sick of it. Can't wait for the hurricane season to heat up. How is everything. Looks like things are going well for you as well? I'll try and stop by and share my 2 cents up in here more often.

As for Rob I think all he did was rack up points in the Games thread and brag about how he got 10 more inches of snow than anyone else. I think thats why the Games forum was put down for a while. lol.
