Man suing for millions over lost jacket finally loses

#1 Postby Category 5 » Mon Jun 25, 2007 9:34 pm

And is forced to pay $1,000 for court costs and might be forced to pay tens of thousands for the dry cleaners legal fees.

He should be charged alot more IMO. This is the dumbest lawsuit I've ever seen.

If it were up to me, I'd make him pay the defendants the $60 million he tried to squeeze out of them.

Thank goodness he did lose. He should pay all the fines and fees that the dry cleaners had to pay. I heard they wanted to just shut down the business and go back to Korea because of all this.

The Chief Admin Law Judge in DC has also recommended that his position not be renewed by the Commission that reviews the positions (his was up for renewal) so he is also likely to lose his job as well. That Karmic Law will get you eventually.

I'm glad the lawsuit is thrown out, because a lost piece of clothing is not worth $54 Million. Any simpleton should know that...well, almost any simpleton.

It's about time we see people who try to take advantage of others actually suffer the consequences! :D

This is the most frivolous lawsuit I have ever seen. He could get disbarred for that.

CNN news is now saying that the dill-hole is talking about appealing the case! I guess he wants to spend every dime his kids could have inherited and tie up the legal system for as long as he can!! What exactly is this jerk trying to prove?? That he's the biggest village idiot of all time??!! It really must suck to have nothing better to do in this world besides harrass obviously good people with a BOGUS lawsuit!! :grr: :grr: :grr:

I hope that this story has inspired the better nature in the folks who live in that area and has caused them to patronize this family's business even more!! :D :D :D

No, they shouldn't. They should be forced to compensate the other party in the lawsuit, though.

Wow...was the guy suing for millions
over a pair of pants smoking pot or something?
That is such a crazy thing to do I'd think
a person would have to be on drugs
to even conceive of the idea...

There's something else that needs to be considered: Since he's a judge, all of the cases that he has presided over should be reviewed to determine if his judgements were legally sound.

As others have stated, this idiot should be made to pay all of the costs incurred by the dry cleaners and he should be disbarred like yesterday.

It's stupid frivilous lawsuits like these that cause backlogs in the court system.
