Wow! Are they going to have to wait for an abnormally high tide to get it out? I guess the angle it is sitting is causing the problem.

Wow, very cool.....at least to look at. I am sure its going to be a pain in the butt for someone. Seems like the longer it sits there the harder it may be to remove it. Thanks for sharing the pics. :)

The situation looked pretty bad, but awesome pics nonetheless. Thanks for posting those!

How often do you see a ship get beached on the coastline after a severe storm?

Happened right about the time some North Texas areas got flooded. What a coincidence!

Was there any fuel spill in connection with the grounding?

Something like that happened many years ago off of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. It took a long time to get the ship moved.

I remember seeing a special on TV about a company trying to move a boat, I think it was in Alaska, cause it was so cold and they could only go there at certain times and then they had a very short "window of opportunity" to move it within. It was an interesting program.

Yep...hence the reason for the crazy amount of $$$ tied up in commercial salvage operations...
