Found a Snake in Home!!!!!!!!
My wife saw the cats looking at something so she picked up the box and a little snake was on the box!!!!!!!!!!He was only 4inches long.

I think he was cute and if I did not have 3 cats I would have kept him.I took him to a pet store and they said it was a very rare find.

my dogs found one of those in our yard - he got away though. He was about 3 feet long. At least we hope it was one of those. They have killed several snakes in the yard and one fo them got really sick from a bite from one we never saw. Fortunately he did live.

"If red touches yellow, kill a fellow, red touches black, you're alright, Jack"
When I first saw the photo I thought it was a Coral snake and was like....woah! I don't know if it was me that found it if I would have remebered that rhymn I learned back in grade school.
We have had alot of snakes making an appearance around my house latley too. Just today I found a tail by the doggie/kitty door. I am wondering where the rest of it is. My cat loves to bring stuff through the door and leave it for me.
I fear one day she will get a snake in the door alive and it will get away from her and be hiding somewhere in my house!!!

About once a month we find a snake in our swimming pool, its black with a orangey-red ring around its neck and its about 8" long. Late one night my husband and I came home and decided to get in the pool without turning any lights on and he felt something crawling around his neck. He got out, turned the lights on and it was one of those snakes! CREEPY! I won't get in the pool at night anymore without first turning on the lights and checking it out!

We had a Coral or a King snake in our house a few years ago and couldnt remember that rhyme, so we took it out back and killed it. We back up to wetlands so we see different breeds all the time. I dont normally kill them myself unless they are poisonus but I also had small kids and animals in the house and wasnt willing to take the risk.

This is the time of year where you will find snakes out and about even getting into homes...If you got small kids or animals then you might have to make that choice and kill a poisonous snake but having trap hundreds of snakes most snakes are just on their way somewhere else...Looking for the next meal....Even the largest rattle snakes will run from you untill cornered...I always tell people expecialy in Florida to learn which ones are poisonous and keep their yards picked up so they don't create a enviroment for thenm to want to stay...There are lot of poisonous creature all over your property ...Snakes of which are the least likely to be there...

Black on red, good for Fred
Black on yellow, kill the fellow
or
Black or red, who can tell
Either way , run like hell
Easiest way to tell is that the Coral Snake has a black snout.
