I am angry.. needless to say.. here's why

This is the statement from Ticketmaster.com where I ordered my tix.. I heard the story on the news this morning..

Kelly Clarkson has announced that she will not be touring this summer. Tickets for the tour can be refunded at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets via Ticketmaster.com, or by phone, you will automatically receive a credit within 7-10 days. If you purchased your tickets at a Ticketmaster retail location or a Box Office, please return your tickets to that location for your refund. As future concert dates become available, current ticket holders will be invited via email, mail or phone notification, to purchase tickets through an exclusive presale, which will take place prior to the general on sale date for each concert.

Singer Cites Ticket Sales As Reason

NEW YORK -- Singer Kelly Clarkson is calling off her concert tour.

The former "American Idol" winner's publicist has put out a statement quoting promoter Michael Rapino as saying, "Ticket sales have not been what we anticipated." The statement says the Clarkson team is re-evaluating the size and scope of her show.

Clarkson is apologizing to fans on her Web site.


"The fact is that touring is just too much too soon," Clarkson said.

Clarkson promised to tour as soon as she can.

Tickets for the tour can be refunded at the point of purchase.

Clarkson's new album, "My December," is set for a July 24 release.

I'm sorry..! I don't believe the reason she canceled the tour was due to ticket sales.. I think she's hiding something she may not want her fans to know.. Maybe something happened.. who knows..

I have just 1 question.. does "automatically receiving a credit mean in fancy terms that I'm getting my money back?

Ok.. I'll stop venting now.. I'm not happy!

I know she has been through alot of changes lately including her manager I think. Anyway I was disappointed cause I like her music so much, but I do beleive the problem was with ticket sales Not too many people like her new cd. Sorry you won't get to go this time but she'll tour soon i bet and you can catch her then.

Also sorry to hear this, and think that it must be something else than lack of ticket sales. Bought the CD of a year or so ago. Listened to it with my kids. I like her. She's a very passionate girl. Maybe its coincidence, but a lot of her songs have a streak of anger in them, and she really pulls that off well. Very talented. I hope the best for her.

I have 3 theories.. Either she's having management issues, she's very sick and doesn't wanna say why.. or someone close 2 her maybe even passed away and shes having issues dealing with it..

I also think she's very passionate with her music.. Ya can kinda hear it when she's singing when she puts emphasis on her vocals..

and btw.. I'm not so sure I'd wanna go when she "reschedules" her tour and resets the dates..

Well.. A friend of mine showed me an article this morning that said that Kelly fired her manager..

Another idea I had thought of.. Kelly looks good but recently she seems to have put on some weight.. Do u suppose she might be pregnant?.. I know.. probably that solution is way out there..

She's been having a power struggle with Clive Davis over this album. He doesn't like it and this is something that she wanted to put out - she wrote almost all of it and is very personal to her.

She has put on some weight, but she was about the same size, maybe a little smaller when she was on AI.

Perhaps success is starting to catch up with her. I love her voice and I think that if this album does end up being a mistake, the industry will allow her to get past it due to her string of successes and awards.

Well too bad if Clive doesn't like it lol.. Kelly doesn't belong to AI anymore.. I don't believe the ticket sales thing.. I just wish Kelly would have been more honest with her fan base
