BREAKING NEWS: 6.8 Magnitude Earthquake

Got this when I was logging on to one of the local news sites:

The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the Pacific coast of Guatemala at 2:29 p.m. CT.

There was an earthquake of 5.9 5 days earlier in almost the same spot.

It's the END of times I'm tellin' ya...max out your credit cards, run naked through the streets...North and South America are going to be split in half at the Panama Canal! :lol:

The 6.8 quake is right on a Subduction zone....

Cocos plate is subducting right into the Caribbean plate..... this is purely friction of the tectonic plates which move along with the Earth's Core
