Relocation to Houston, TX

#1 Postby wlfpack81 » Sat Jun 09, 2007 4:38 pm

Alright didn't really know where to fit this in but just wanted to throw out a quick update. Some of the long time members may be somewhat familiar w/my user name though I've never posted as much as others and was almost non-existent during the 2006 'cane season. But to get to the point I just wanted to announce I recently relocated to the Houston metro area b/c of a new job and it's feels good to be back in hurricane country (grow up in SE VA and went to college in central NC) after spending 3yrs in tornado alley (OK City area). Not sure if those in the SE TX coast continue to have member get togethers but if you do in the future maybe I'll get a chance to meet some of you there. Take it easy.

Hey! I just recently moved to Houston, TX too! I moved from Florida because of my mom's job. I arrived here on June 1st! Maybe I'll get to meet you sometime! Texas Rocks!

Missouri City, TX is probably the most beautiful city I've seen. All the houses are new and they are incredible! I could live in any of the houses in Missouri City because they are good quality. As for the heat, IT IS REALLY HOT! When I lived in Florida, I thought the heat was bad there, but it's even worse here. Luckily there are pools every where I go so it's not so bad. I miss Disney World already though.
