My cousin and her son are coming by for a visit on Saturday. On Sunday, I think I may go to the beach with the family. Hopefully in the morning. Next week, will be the same as this week. Work. Work Work .... deal with life. How about you?

When I get into a 'mind rut' I always try to do something different.........go to a movie, hang out with friends, go to a new retaurant..something that breaks up the humdrum of everyday life. Life can get very monotonous if we let it. It is up to each person to bring back the dynamic that life is. Motivation is a tough one b/c it demands a 'mind change', sometimes it is just better to do nothing that you are 'supposed' to do and get off the beaten path so that when you return, it is with renewed vigor to accomplish your responsibilities.............keep your chin up and know that this too shall pass..................HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND WITH FAMILY!!!

TGIF my friend!

Things to do when you're bored:

-Trim your toenails.
-Go to McDonalds and try to order a pizza.
-Go to Pizza Hut and try to order a Big Mac.
-Stand in an elevator, face the back, and argue with yourself.
-Glue a quarter to the sidewalk and watch people try to pick it up.
-Declare your yard a free and sovereign country.
-Write the great American novel, then realize it's not the great American novel since you seceded from America, throw novel away.
-Perform plastic surgery on a doll.
-Cross dress, go to the mall, see how many people notice.
-Stand still in your front yard until a neighbor asks if you're OK.

Thanks Gulf

And Regit. I have done the elevator thing. It is hysterical. Especailly if you plant a "normal" person in the elevator with you.

Someone actually made a TV show where he triedc to establish a nation which was in effect just his house and got people to sign up on the internet to be citizens of the country, he even made governmental posts for high ranking members of his nation and went to the UN to meet diplomatic leaders before holding a parade in London and called himself king!

Try doing something you have never done but might have wanted to. Examples:

Get out pencil, paper and mirror and try to draw yourself.
Take off all your clothes and dance naked in the living room.
Turn off all lights and noice in the house, set an arlam clock for an hour, sit in a dark space (closet, bathroom, etc.), pick a scene and imagine yourself in it, experencing ever tiny thing such as light, wind, gnats.
Fill the bathroom with lighted candles and crawl into the bathtub for an hour (with or without water).
Find an ant colony or spider in its web and sit and watch their industry for awhile.
Sit down and write out ten good things your significant other has done or does, their good qualities, or positve times you have spent together. Then put the list in an envelope and place it on their pillow before bedtime. PS: Remember to add thank you.
