Have any of u ever had season tickets for maybe 1 of ur local teams or to see a seasons worth of shows at ur local PAC?

I ask because I became a season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Lightning today :). I ordered a 1/4 season package {10 games}.. and needless to say.. I'm quite satisfied..

I have until Opening Night in October to pay it off.. but I'll probably have it paid off by July..

Go BOLTS!

I had season tickets to the Texas Longhorns in Austin when I lived down there. Best money I ever spent.

If I lived in Tampa/St Pete.. I would invest in full season tix.. I even thought about getting 1/2 season tix.. But I wouldn't want my job having a fit with me constantly changing wanting to change my days off or my hours so I can go to Tampa to see a hockey game..

Some sports are easier than others to have season tickets to. College Football never really clashed with work so I was able to take advantage of the tickets more.

Tix expensive Justin?.. If I lived in Tampa or St Pete.. I probably would have invested in full season tix. I had thought about 1/2 season tix.. but settled for the 1/4 season instead..

Alicia-w. In spite of the Sun's early exit this year, your tickets would have been a great investment! Suns basketball here in Arizona does better than any other sport team in town.

Never been a season ticket holder myself for any team, so have to plan well in advance for single-game tickets to see the Cubs (when they are not getting kicked out or beating themselves up), Bears, Chargers, NIU Huskies, or Phoenix Suns.

I think I have a lock on some tickets for the September 9th Bears/Chargers game in San Diego, but those are through a friend of a friend of a friend....etc..

Also like the Broadway musicals that come to town, but never buy season tickets for those either. Just try to get on the phone the first day the single performance seats go on sale. Wicked was the last show. Not sure what will be next.

oh how i miss cultural events. my husband refuses to attend. his idea of a fun cultural event is the Styx concert we'll be seeing in October. He was forced to attend the opera and ballet when in his early 20s (a LONG time ago) and feels he's done his time with that. whatever. i'll just hire an escort and see how quickly he changes his mind.

This may be the side of me that still acts like a kid.. {after all I'm only 24 1/2}.. But I can't wait till I get my tix paid off.. I can't wait till I get my list of plans to choose from once the NHL releases their schedule.. and I can't wait till October for the next season :) lol..

I'm actually looking fwd to this now a little more than the Idols concert in 5 weeks or the Kelly Clarkson concert Labor Day weekend..

Probably because hockey by far is my favorite sport to watch live.. If I ever move to Tampa or St Pete like I want too.. or if I ever buy a car and gas prices go down lol.. I'd invest in full season tix..

But I'll settle for 1/4 season right now.. If I wanted too.. I could have bought 1/2 season.. But I don't want my bosses at work pulling out their hairs because I'll already be changing my days off to go to the 10 games.. Imagine 20 lol..
