In Praise of Buur

Once I drank a buur.
Then another one.
Soon enough, no buur.
Where did the buur go?

Buur is the foundation
Of Egyptian civilization
One day after a mastaba
Was laid all square and high
The foreman said
"Ashanti portan huk"
And with that they threw back
Brewskies with pleasure
Walked home across a bridge
Of tied up crocadillers

Once I drank a buur
Then another one.
Soon enough, no buur.
Where did the buur go?

Buur is a way to keep
Kilocalories without fear
Buur is a way to make
Grains eternal, if yucky past
The best gulped by date
Can't got sick from bad buur
Only sick from too much buur
Go buur go buur go buur
Down my throat, thank you

Thank you buur gods!

No doubt inspired by buur :)

I read an anecdote that Egyptian teachers complained that the students liked beer more than attending class.

Imagine that!

At first I thought this was a thread about Raymond Burr. Never post when you first wake-up.
