GOOD GOD MAN....where have ALL the PEOPLE come from? I live 5 miles from the PD, a normal 10 minute drive and coming home this afternoon....it took 27 MINUTES to GET HOME :x

I guess schools in Phoenix and Tucson have been released for the summer already, I swear, ALL 3.5 MILLION Phoenicians, Tucsonians have packed up and come UP for the Memorial Day weekend! YEAH...I know, "If you don't like it MOVE, RIGHT?" 8-)

WHEW...if it's THIS busy already what the HADES is FRIDAY going to be like?

BTW...our schools are out tomorrow  crime rates going to go UP 110% ESPECIALLY tomorrow night with graduation and all....wish me LUCK! 8-)

OH YEAH Marshall....what choice do I have  Naaa...it's just a shock to the system to go from a year round population of approx. 22,000 to 100,000+ on holiday weekends. I must say though, right now it's a kewl 67° with a stiff breeze of 19, it's even COOL for me...I can't imagine coming from temps of 103+° for the past two weeks to 60's  Hope the campers brought winter survival gear

Did you say you had to work this weekend or can you sit back, drink a cold one and watch the traffic go by?

Two blocks is a back up? :na:

We could be so lucky to have only two blocks of traffic backed up at the lights here on Beach Party Weekend, holiday weekends, Bike Rally weekend, and during Mardi Gras. And don't get me started on the wait for the ferry.

Then again, you guys in Phoenix have HEAT to beat the band...literally. :onfire:

AZSnow is not in Phoenix but Pinetop-a small mountain community in the White Mountains that is overrun by people seeking to escape that heat.

Duh, that's right. I stand corrected. I just recall previous posts about the heat there also. I know Phoenix temps get much hotter though. Thank heavens for a seabreeze here. :)

Thanks Steve and to be honest, we AIN'T that "Lil' ole tourist trap anymore!" The recent census (local) puts Pinetop Lakeside at 24,600 year round residents, 95,350 with summer residents and that's NOT counting the on slaught on flatlanders....and they wonder why I have 35-40 hours of OVERTIME a WEEK...yes, I'm scheduled for 40 hours add that 35-40 hours of OT a week....chit, no WONDER I'm tired!
