Post office to issue "Forever Stamp"

These new stamps will not have a value marked. You buy them at the current cost for first class postage and the stamp will be good for any time in the future even if rates go up again. People can stock up on them now to avoid paying higher prices for stamps in the future. When prices go up in the future, the same stamp would then sell for the new rate. The need for 1 or 2 cent stamps would ne eliminated for the transitions.
A neat little piece of marketing if you ask me. But I think a better name would be the "Whatever" stamp.
